After 10 years as a reporter and editor for daily newspapers in Ohio, Washington state, and Idaho, Fanselow turned to full-time freelance writing in 1991. Fanselow enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, reading, music and movies. She lives with her husband, Bruce Whiting, in Idaho.
