Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Dutch Oven Recipe
Crispy Tater Tots baked to golden brown over creamy shredded chicken. This easy recipe for Chicken Bacon Ranch Tater Tot Recipe will be a huge hit and taste even better the next day. This comfort food is a meal your whole family will love!
Ingredients
- 1 Rotisserie Chicken de-boned and shredded
- 5 ounce can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened and cut into cubes
- ¾ cup whole Milk
- 1 ounce Ranch Seasoning mix packet
- 1 teaspoon crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 6 slices of Bacon cooked and crumbled, divided
- 2 pounds frozen Tater Tots
- 8 ounces block Colby Jack Cheese shredded
- ¼ cup Green Onions sliced
Instructions
- Clean, Oil and preheat 12” Dutch Oven to 375 degrees F. 17 Briquettes on the top and 12 on the bottom
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, soup, cream cheese, milk, ranch seasoning, crushed red pepper, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the bottom of your 12” Dutch Oven
- Top the chicken mixture with half of the crumbled bacon.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots over the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes until the tater tots are cooked through.
- Remove Lid from Dutch Oven and cover with remaining cheese.
- Put lid back on and cook for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the cheese is bubbly. If needed take all the briquettes and put on top of the lid to melt the cheese and make it bubbly.
- Garnish with remaining bacon and green onions.
