Deluxe Turkey Left-Overs Dutch Oven Recipe
Creamed Turkey is the delicious way to use up your leftover turkey! It is easy to make and so delicious! Comfort food on a cold day!
2 Green Peppers – cut in strips
6 tbs. Flour
1/2 cup Butter
1/4 cup Chopped Pimento
2 tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. Onion Salt
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 Cans 7-Up (about 14 oz.)
1 Cup Light Cream
6 Cups Cut up Turkey
Warm and butter your 12″ regular Dutch Oven. Cook green peppers in butter over low heat until soft. Mix in flour and blend thoroughly, add pimento, Worcestershire Sauce, onion salt, salt. Stir in 7-Up and cream. continue cooking until mixture thickens. Add Turkey and cook until turkey is heated through. Serve over hot Noodles, Rice, Toast, Biscuits, or Idaho Potatoes of course!!! Yum!! Yum!!
