Dutch Oven Soup & Stew

1 Package Bacon ( or less if desired) 1 Cup Chopped Onion 4 Cups Potatoes, cubed 1 tsp. Salt 1 1/2 Cup Water 1 Can Evaporated Milk 3 T. Butter 2 - 3 T. Flour Pepper to taste Fry Bacon and Onion in bottom of dutch oven. Add potatoes and water. Cook till almost done. Melt butter in another pot add flour slowly.....whisk together then add milk. Put this in your dutch oven. Then it should be done in 10 to 15 min.....or just wait till you see steam coming out of the dutch oven and then you know it is done. This will work in a 12" dutch oven.
