Fried Skillet Biscuits Dutch Oven Recipe
Fried skillet biscuits, a classic, comforting dish often made in a cast-iron skillet or Dutch oven
1/3 Cup Biscuit Mix, Bisquick
1/4 Cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 Eggs, beaten
1 Zucchini, shredded
2 Tablespoons Butter
Directions:
In mixing bowl, stir together biscuit mix, cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir in eggs, add zucchini. Melt butter in a well seasoned cast iron 10″ skillet. Form 8 biscuit patties and fry 4 at a time in the skillet over low heat, usually about 3 minutes per side.
OK, I am not a zucchini lover so this is what I do. Forget the zucchini and add corn chips (crushed), or corn flakes (crushed) or if you want to add a little spice in your life add flavored chips of any kind. If you do this people will wonder if you have too much time or that you are the best cook in the world. I choose to think the second one is correct.
