Ingredients:
2 – 4 Elk Steaks
1/4 Cup Flour
4 tsp. Butter
1 Onion, sliced
2 Cups Fresh Mushrooms
1 15 oz. Can of Tomato Sauce
3 Beef Bouillon Cubes, dissolved in 3 Tbsp. Water
1 Tbsp. Salt
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Pepper
Directions:
Cut Elk Steaks into serving pieces and sprinkle with flour. Place in a 14″ Dutch Oven with hot butter, onion, and mushrooms. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over steak. Bake with 18 charcoal briquettes on the top and 10 on the bottom. Remember when you see steam coming out from under the lid you know it done.
