It has a spring-loaded pin in the center that opens when pressed, allowing gas to flow in or out

How it works

• The valve consists of an outer shell and a spring-loaded pin or plunger in the center.
• Gas pressure is held in by the spring unless the pin is depressed, which opens the valve.
• An gas hose fitting uses a small pin to press against the Schrader valve’s pin, unseating it and allowing gas to flow.
