The BeFree Gravity Camp Upgrade Kit turns your Katadyn Gravity Camp or Base Camp Pro into a Katadyn BeFree Gravity Water Filter System.

Upgrade Base Camp Pro 10L and Gravity Camp 6L to be compatible with the BeFree Replacement Cartridge

  • Function: It allows compatibility between the female thread of the existing 6L or 10L water bag and the male thread of the BeFree filter element.
  • Components:
    • Adapter Ring: Connects the existing water bag to the BeFree filter.
    • Quick-release valve: For the outlet hose with an automatic stop feature.
    • Integrated hose suspension: Helps attach the outlet hose to the adapter ring.
  • Compatibility: Designed for use with the Katadyn Gravity Camp 6L and Katadyn Base Camp Pro 10L water systems.
  • Note: The kit is an accessory and does not include a filter. A Katadyn BeFree Replacement Cartridge must be purchased separately to use the BeFree Gravity Water Filter System
Installation and Usage
To use the upgrade kit, you first need to attach the male-thread end of the adapter ring to the BeFree filter element.
The quick-release valve connects the filter to your output hose, allowing you to control water flow easily.
The system relies on gravity: once the dirty water bag is filled and hung, gravity forces the water through the BeFree filter and out the hose, providing clean, safe drinking water on demand. Just use the Clamp to get as much clean water as you like.
