- Constructed from 18 gauge to 24 gauge galvanized steel. 18 gauge used at all stress and wear areas. 20 gauge on top.
- Trail Boss Stove has a double insulated bottoms that wont burn out.
- Trail Boss Stove has double walls for extra strength and long burning time. Riley Stoves with their double bottom and double walls is a very high quality lightweight stove.

The Riley Stove Trail Boss is designed particularly for the larger crews and large tents. It weighs 38 lb. Its dimensions are 18″ x 13″ x 28″ with a 5″ chimney hole. It will heat a 16′ x 24′ (plus) wall tent. It will feed 8 or more people and holds the heat approximately
8 hrs. The Miss Kitty or Matt Dillon oven work well on this stove. We suggest Accessory Group 11 for the Trail Boss.

Will the galvanized coating on the stove bother me?
It will not because the galvanized coating becomes liquefied when it gets hot, and it is not possible to breathe the hot liquid. The only smell that burns off the stove is the oil from the metal. All sheet metals, including black iron, have this oil on them from the foundry to keep them from sticking together.
Please NOTE: When you first operate your stove the galvanizing will liquefy for about 5 to 7 minutes. At this stage, it will bake onto the metal to form a protective coating.
