Sourdough Bread Dutch Oven Recipe

The process involves mixing, a series of rests and folds, bulk fermentation, shaping, and baking in a preheated Dutch oven to create a spectacular crust and chewy interior. 

1 1/2 cup starter room temperature
1/2 cup milk 120-130 degrees
2 1/4 t yeast
3-4 cups flour
1 t sugar
1 t salt
1 egg
1t cooking oil
Instructions: Mix milk, yeast and sugar, let it set for 10 min. then add starter, egg, oil, salt, mix 1 min. while mixing add flour 1 cup at at time until it pulls away from the bowl. Mixture should not be sticky. Then put dough on floured board knead 10 min. Then put in greased bowl turn over, over and let rise in warm area 1 1/2 hours or until it doubles in size. Then punch down and put in a 10″ warm dutch oven. Let it rise about double in size, about 30 min. Put 12 coals on top and 10 coals on the bottom. Depending on the weather cook for 45 min. to 1 hr. In you oven at home cook at 425 degrees for 25-30 min. until bread sounds hollow.
