Storing your Dutch Oven
You can use a tote bag or if you use the a lot you can just put a paper towel hanging out from under the lid to wick the moisture out of you dutch oven until you use it again.
If you have a tote bag we suggest you put the lid down first and then the dutch oven on top of that. This way it will not rub holes in the bottom of the bag if you have it in your RV and are traveling down the road.
Storing your Dutch Oven
in a cool, dry place with the lid slightly cracked—using a folded paper towel to create a gap—to prevent moisture buildup, rust, and rancid oil odors. For long-term storage or high-humidity areas, place a moisture-absorbing item like a paper sack, rice, or charcoal inside. Keep them off the floor and, if possible, avoid stacking other cookware inside to protect the seasoning
